Steve Waldman (from New College) talked at the Kauffman foundation about the failure of governance (corporate, government, and press) regarding the 2008 Financial Crisis and the need for non-captive voice. To help prevent future failures, bloggers should form ad-hoc coalitions regarding a policy: provide data to back it up, sign their name to it, and use their collective capital to shop it to political players.
