Getting back to tax reading, I find that deferring income tax by using a foreign investment
corporation is expressly disallowed by the IRS (tax code <a href="http://uscode.house.gov/uscode-cgi/fastweb.exe?getdoc+uscview+t26t28+925+0++%28%29%20%20AND%20%28%2826%29%20ADJ%20USC%29%3ACITE%20AND%20%28USC%20w%2F10%20%281297%29%29%3ACITE%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20">1297</a>). Reading is a great tonic for curing foolish notions.

Ideally, I'd like to find a way to defer all investment income tax. Then I would only have to search
for high-yield investments, instead of the highest yield after arbitrary and differing tax treatments.
