This weekend was amazing. I lost while playing Risk, my car died, and I spent every other waking moment with Carrie.
Now I have to do a bunch of schoolwork, debug my car, and get some sleep before next weekend. ;)
The Passion of The Christ is well worth watching. It mediates well between Christ the legend and Christ the man (as depicted by Mel). This is also mirrored by the string of hyperviolent scenes being broken up by flashbacks and stories of the people around him. Overall, I liked its construction. The only thing I'd change would be the depiction of Satan, I'd have him always arrive in various guises, and not always humanoid.
Greenspan's Intellectual Property speech struck me as a bit procrustean. He doesn't really get around to putting feet on the argument that as our economy becomes increasingly digital, intellectual property rights will only increase in importance.
