Played <a href="http://www.boardgamegeek.com/viewitem.php3?gameid=3076">Puerto
Rico</a> for the first time today, and it was a blast. There's little 
luck involved (all strategy until you're sitting next to someone who makes a 
mistake, then you get lucky ;).

ArjunSanyal's parents had a quiet gettogether as they had just returned from
Greece and their neighbor's daughter, Kate, was celebrating her engagement 
to a young microbiologist, Sam. Funniest part of the evening was watching
Arjun's sister's eyes glaze over when she sat down next to us and realized
we were talking finance. Sorry, Dia. ;)
