500 pages provide an introduction to the scientific method, statistics, and various theories of stock price fluctuation. Better introductions to these topics exist, i.e. read DataAnalysisForPoliticsAndPolicy in addition to the wikipedia entry on Falsifiability. The stock market theory discussion has less value than the paper on which it was printed.
