I wish I could get an RSS feed of hubris. It's not enough that I only occasionally see something like the following from the FT:

It seems very easy to fall into the trap of thinking that one's country or way of thinking beats all others in all cases. This exceptionalism makes me laugh; Big Important Guy seems no better than Wile E Coyote gloating before he gets hit by the rocket he just launched.
