Doris Kearns Goodwin drops some semiotics on Giuliani in today's NY Times:

"I think what is harder for Giuliani is he is still so relatively unkown," Ms. Goodwin said. "As people begin to fill in the picture and learn about his separation, his son, other incidents, they become the early impressions and those are hard to reshape. This will be a real test for him."
