I want a laptop with a matte 11" display, SSD, dual-band wifi, and a keyboard with a backslash over the Enter.

Apparently, no laptop looks like this. Unfortunately, I don't know this for certain as the laptop choosers / selectors seem fairly incomplete (froogle, amazon, cnet). Any better ways to scan through the offerings?

It seems like the best-fit = the 2011 Macbook Air 4,1. Hard to believe that a mac is the cheapest alternative...

[permalink] We'll see how my usage of it goes; I don't expect to use it much other than for home computing, so I just ordered an anti-glare screen for it. --Patrick
