lol. that was me trying to be all Ambrose Bierce like and failing. ;) every once in a while I'll hear people talk about morality. this pisses me off to no end. we're constantly negotiating with our friends / peers for the whole list of things that are good and things that are bad. Declaring something good or bad tries to railroad the group decision process instead of calling it out for discussion.

Ah. My response to that is usually to tell the person that they're wrong, and move on with the conversation. Even - no, sorry - especially if I agree with them.
