Our financial uptime has gone to hell recently. There's basically blood in the streets of the world's financial districts and all those rich guys are twisting political arms to get something done. Lots of people point the blame towards investment banks, toxic mortgages, crazy derivatives, yadda yadda.

When in reality, the sole cause of all this financial downtime has been Twitter.
